Are you sick of taking pictures that everyone else is taking? Perhaps it’s time to change your perspective, literally. Great photography is sometimes a result of how you choose to see the subject, not the topic itself. Your creative journey might therefore be totally transformed by investigating fresh perspectives.
We educate students at our photography school on how to see differently, in addition to how to operate a camera. Changing your viewpoint changes the entire story of your picture, whether you’re crouching low to capture life from a child’s perspective or framing your shot with reflections, shadows, or silhouettes.
New angles are mental as well as physical. What if you viewed a portrait as more than simply a face, as a narrative? What if a street snapshot evolved from a scene to a platform for human emotion? Getting away from eye-level shots allows for creativity, emotion, and surprise. You start to see intimacy in the little details of daily life, drama in the skyline, or patterns in the pavement. Students are encouraged to take risks in our workshops and classes. The objective? To aid in their development of both technique and vision.
Therefore, consider this the next time you’re in front of the camera: “What haven’t I seen yet? ” You might get a photo of one that someone else has taken with that one query.
Being modest. Look up. Take a look below and tilt your camera. Change your viewpoint. Above all, never give up exploring. The world of photography encompasses more than simply your immediate surroundings. It depends on how you frame it.
